After about 12 years at Netscape/AOL and Yahoo and a year at a small startup - Covia Labs - Rob heads Platform Engineering at Cloudera, a Big Data software company.

Helena works at a biotech startup Igenex in Mountain View developing tests for TB.

We are very much in love with the Northern California outdoor life, and encourage friends and associates to enjoy it and protect it as well. Rob maintains a low-volume mailing list for planned hikes, foot races and other outings in the San Francisco Bay Area. Send him a message if you're interested!

Another great thing about the South Bay is the Mountain View School of Taekwondo. Terrific workout, builds self-confidence, teaches self-defense, low cost, completely non-commercial. We meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Whisman Sports Center on Middlefield Road, and Saturday mornings for an outdoor session. If you live in this area, consider signing up! If you're a martial artist from some other area, passing through the Bay Area, come spend an evening or morning with us!
